Can you achieve twice the productivity with half the hassle?
Domestic sourcing... the new choice for industry leaders.

Technology outsourcing is a trend that has defined and shaped the last several decades of software development. It has contributed to the dramatic growth in technology and has helped keep costs down for companies.

But the success of outsourcing has been due to several confluent factors occurring over this time period, including the high education level and low income level in some countries, the increasing salary, tax and insurance costs of US workers, US tax breaks for offshore outsourcing, and a strong dollar. As these factors shift, has outsourcing outlived its value? Is it time to reevaluate domestic sourcing?

Join us for a discussion on the state of outsourcing today and hear from government organizations, academics, service providers and buyers who are reassessing their outsourcing strategies. This session aims to give business leaders the tools and knowledge they need to determine when domestic sourcing should be part of their overall sourcing strategy.

  • Is the gap closing between cost of offshoring and cost of domestic sourcing?
  • Does supporting growth of technical workforce in America mean giving up competitive advantage?
  • What factors need to be considered when choosing a sourcing location?
